SSC CGL 2023 Education Qualification


Educational Qualification

Assistant Audit Officer 

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized institution.

Desirable: CS/CA/MBA/Cost Management Accountant/master’s in commerce / master’s in business studies.

Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)  

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution (minimum 60% in math in 12th)

SSC CGL 2023 Selection Process (Revised)

SSC CGL notification serves as an important announcement for the SSC CGL exam, which is conducted in two phases. According to the SSC CGL Notification 2023, those who clear SSC CGL Tier 1 can only sit for the SSC CGL Exam Tier 2. There are following some information related to SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam and SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam:

  • The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam is an online and computer-based exam
  • Marks of SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will not be included in the final results of SSC CGL.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam:

Candidates who will qualify SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will proceed further to SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam. There are three papers conducted in total.

-PAPER I: is compulsory for every post.

– PAPER II: is based on statistics and for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. 

– PAPER III: It is based on General Studies for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer or Assistant Account Officer.
